  4. Reader, the latest addition to their Music Series
  5. line of programs for the IBM PC.  MidiFile Reader
  6. provides a new approach to editing and
  7. understanding your Standard MIDI Files.

  9. The program allows you to easily convert your
  10. MIDI files into a textual format.  This text
  11. format provides a human readable translation of
  12. every MIDI event and value in the MIDI file.  You
  13. can then easily browse or edit these events with
  14. any text editor.  Your favorite text editor can
  15. be integrated into MidiFile Reader so that you
  16. never have to exit the program to edit a text
  17. file.  After a text file has been modified, it
  18. can be converted back into a Standard MIDI File.
  19. MidiFile Reader also provides an extensive
  20. "profile" feature which allows you to customize
  21. many aspects of the program.
